Congratulations Allie Miner! 2024 Alishia Liolli Leadership Award Recipient

Congratulations to this year’s Alishia Liolli Leadership Awad recipient, Allie Miner. Allie has worked at the Bruce Awad Summer Program for a number of years. She is dedicated and compassionate as well as a creative leader. Her commitment to the program and students she supports is admirable. She has organized and volunteered at fundraisers, has initiated an Outdoor Learning Program for next summer, and often stays after hours at the program to make her classroom extra special for her students.

Asked what the program means to her, Allie replied “I have been working with Autism Services Inc. for approximately 11 summers, starting in 2008 as a Focus on Youth student. This program solidified my decision to become a teacher and continues to influence my decisions in the classroom. It has always provided a supportive and accepting environment for both students and workers to learn and grow.”
