2023 Alishia Liolli Leadership Awad
Every summer, the senior staff at the Bruce Awad Summer Program select a Summer Support Team Member that best displays leadership, hard work, kindness, and dedication. The Award was created in 2021 to commemorate, Alishia Liolli, a former summer support worker.
Congratulations to Thomas Fawdry! Thomas was awarded the 2023 Alishia Liolli Leadership Award for his outstanding qualities and dedication as a Summer Support Worker at the Bruce Awad Summer Program. Thomas has worked as a Support Worker for for the past four summers at the Essex Location.
As for why he joined ASI, Thomas said…..
“I wanted to work for ASI to develop the skills I need for my second-year placement in the Educational Support Program at St. Clair College. What I enjoy about the summer program is the connections you create with the students and staff. The Essex Location has a positive work environment where the students and co-workers feel like a family. I plan to become a secondary school teacher and a special education teacher.”
